Sherry finishing isn’t common in Kentucky, but Wild Turkey aren’t the first to do it either. The fourth in the Master's Keep series, Batch No.1 of Revival comes with a mashbill of 75% Corn, 13% Rye and 12% Malted Barley. Inspired by the limited edition Wild Turkey Sherry Signature (circa 2000), it's a blend of 12-15 year old bourbons finished in 20-year-old oloroso sherry casks - reportedly, Eddie Russell went to great lengths to procure the barrels from Spain, as the majority only hold sherry for three to four years. The result is a one-of-a-kind, 101 proof sipping whiskey with aromas of cherry pie, raisins, citrus, nuts and a touch of oak. It delivers soft and creamy hints of spice and sweet tropical fruits on the palate and a long and lingering finish of dried apricots, honey and subtle spice. With strong reviews from the likes of whiskyadvocate (below) and miniscule allocations, it's a must for any serious Turkey collector. 1600 cases worldwide.
